Cherie Ruth Reichart, MD

Dr. Cherie Reichart is a native of Texas and completed her medical training at the University of Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She moved to Colorado in 1997, where she completed Internal Medicine internship and residency. After several years practicing medicine as a general internist, she returned to the University of Colorado Heath Sciences Center where she completed her fellowship in Rheumatology. She is a member associate of the American College of Physicians and American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American College of Rheumatology. She has been a partner at Colorado Arthritis Center since 2003.

 

Eric M. Westerman, D.O.

Dr. Eric M. Westerman did his medical school from Western University of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Pomona, California in the year, 1987. He then did his both internship and Residency at Saint Joseph Hospital Denver, Colorado. He moved to Wisconsin to complete his fellowship from University of Wisconsin Rheumatology Madison in 1992. He’s been working since then at Colorado Arthritis Center as Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). He is the Vice-president of Colorado Rheumatism Society and is also the member associate of several foundations and societies such as Arthritis Foundation, Lupus Foundation, Colorado Medical Society, Arapahoe County Medical Society, American College of Rheumatism Regional Advisory Committee and American College of Rheumatism.

 

Robert T. Spencer, M.D., FACP


Dr. Robert T. Spencer has practiced with the Colorado Arthritis Center (CAC) since 1998.  He had previously served as Director of the University of Colorado Rheumatology Practice after completion of his rheumatology fellowship there.  Originally from Tulsa, he received his medical degree in 1986 from the Oklahoma University, graduating as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and as a recipient of a number of other honors and awards.  Dr. Spencer initially became interested in immunology and autoimmune disorders during his undergraduate studies at OU where he had the good fortune to work in the lab of a nationally recognized immunologist.  Over the years since, he has found it exciting to witness how further understanding of the human immune system has led to highly effective treatments for autoimmune rheumatic disorders. 


Dr. Spencer enjoys the diagnostic challenges inherent in the field of rheumatology and finds great satisfaction in providing his patients state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic care.  As Director of Clinical Research at the Colorado Arthritis Center, Dr. Spencer provides CAC patients access to clinical research studies of new therapies for rheumatic disorders.  Dr. Spencer has maintained board certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and continues to hold a clinical academic appointment at the University of Colorado Division of Rheumatology. He is a fellow in the American College of Rheumatology and is a member of the American College of Physicians, International Society of Clinical Densitometry, American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, among other professional organizations. Away from the office, Dr. Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife and two college age children and finds time for fly fishing, photography, reading, music, and hiking.

 

Anita Zachariah, MD


Dr. Anita Zachariah is a native of Colorado and completed her medical training from Medical Academy of Lublin, Poland. She finished her Internal Medicine internship and residency from Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, an affiliate of University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003. She then moved to New York where she completed her Fellowship in Rheumatology in 2006 at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She is a member associate of the American College of Rheumatology. She is also board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and has been working in the private practice of rheumatology since 2006. She has recently joined the Colorado Arthritis Center in 2012.

 

Leslie Rose, MD


Dr. Leslie E. Rose was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She completed her residency at Michigan State University – Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. She then moved to Colorado where she finished her fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She spent 5 years working in the department of rheumatology at the Denver VA Medical Center.  She is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

 

Mark C. Jeranko, D.O.

Dr. Mark C. Jeranko is a native of Westminster, Colorado. After completing his undergraduate education at Fort Lewis College, he earned both a master's degree and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Michigan State University, and his rheumatology fellowship at Wayne State University and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Jeranko is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and has been in private practice since 2020. When not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, skiing, cycling, mountain biking, golfing, and fishing.
